This place was amazing! Beautiful relaxing beach spot that was not crowded and the food was delicious!

I did a lot of comparing in advance of our trip to Punta Sur, but I landed on Anemona and I’m glad I did! I initially thought the prices were a little steep, but I quickly changed my mind when the plates came out. Portions are generous and tasty, and you get a table, umbrella, and little bed for no additional charge. We did some snorkeling (I brought my own gear) and saw a sea turtle!

The atmosphere and beach is great!! Leo dies an excellent job as a snorkel guide! A MUST DO!! Food and drink prices have fine up alot! Good lounge beds, table chairs, umbrellas. Spend the day at Punta Sur!

My husband and I had a fantastic day there. It was a cruise excursion, but I know you can go outside of a cruise. Service was great and the beach is pristine! Would go again in a heart beat.

This is love. Once in a while it happens, I leave a piece of my heart somewhere. Anemona is an incredible place, completely unexpected, nestled away in a natural protected park in a gorgeous white sandy beach. We tried the neighboring restaurant / establishment and it doesn't compare, actually, it doesn't even come in the same category. This rustic beach restaurant has the service, the food and the vibe to go miles in any direction, carribean, or whatever you like. We spent 4 hours of pure joy, sunbathing, eating and relaxing. Even the faint music in the background scored huge points, to the likes of Mi Mujer by Nicolas Jaar (i mean serious stuff). The menu was an absolutely epic "shrimp fajita" (and not the small skimpy shrimp, these were well sized juicy wonders), and tempura fish tacos (oh heaven was this good). All in all, this place, the beach, the vibe, the food and the full package stole a piece of my heart. See the pictures and enjoy. And if you are in cozumel, and you miss this, shame on you.

Stopped here during our port stop, and so glad we did. Their place was totally free of seaweed while surrounding areas on the island were overrun with it. The colors of the sea are indescribable! The service was friendly and dependable. The food was absolutely amazing, We had chicken and beef tacos as well as chicken nachos. The beach had several people on it, but it never felt crowded. They have folks who will offer trinkets, just like everywhere else in the country, but they were polite and never pushy. I probably shouldn't rave so much so I can keep this hidden gem to myself, but if you are planning a visit certainly worth a visit!

Great staff and beautiful hand crafted items for sale. There are a few plant based options for food and the beach was quiet and soft sand.

It is a great place to relax with a really nice beach. I didn't try any food, but I had plenty to drink. Staff is friendly and attentive. Keep in mind, the road has a lot of pot holes, so you'll need to go slow. It's also a bit of a drive from the main road.
